Hello fellow advocates, my name is Alexandria. I am an agricultural enthusiast who has been touched by agriculture the last few years of my life.
I often think agriculture runs in my blood from growing up in the Midwest. I lived eighteen years of my life in the great state of Iowa before heading to a town of 15,000 in NorthEast Missouri for my college education. At Truman State, I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Science with a minor in Equine Studies. While attending school, I actively participated in agricultural organizations like Sigma Alpha, Delta Tau Alpha, Equestrian Team, and Animal Agriculture Club.
After living four wonderful years in Missouri, I moved slightly west to Kansas where I am currently pursuing my first career in agriculture. The purpose of this blog is to share one of my favorite passions, agriculture, with all readers, and to develop common understanding of practices and policy issues occurring in this often confusing industry. I hope this blog sparks conversation and thoughts regarding the industry.
